Julian Coningham, the founder and principal of the firm, has been a qualified solicitor since 1990. He graduated in History from Cambridge University in 1984 and converted to law at The College of Law, London in 1985-7, achieving 4th place in the Order of Merit in 1986 and Honours in 1987.
Having trained in commercial law, Julian has a wide range of skills and experience although he now specialises in human rights and advocacy for both publicly funded and private clients.
Julian has a particular interest in challenging the decisions of public bodies and courts in the human rights field and has appeared as an advocate in the High Court.
Julian has retained a keen interest in commercial and private client work and recently qualified as a Mediator with ADR Chambers. As well as varied practical experience, Julian has a keen academic interest in the law having taught at the College of Law for 2 years.
